Hi Raoul, I use an app called Mighty Text. It's only for Android users and it's free, or you can get the Pro version for $4.99/mo. You get to store all of your texts. It lets me carry on 6 conversations at once while I am on the computer and alerts you when you get a new text or a reply.

Out of all of the crap that I hear about every day that is a "game changer", this one is the real deal. Here's a link. I don't know what the maximum is but give it a try. Here's a link:

I believe MightyText will do what you are looking for. I am loving using it since I hate having to reach for my phone to reply to text messages on it, when I can have them pop up on my monitor instead and I can reply on a real keyboard too.

I just looked at their website and you can only do group texts to 25 people with an upgrade to their PRO account which is only about $40 a year. MightyText referral
