I love receiving email leads from my website because I market for listings....those leads are for a Market Analysis and they are passed on to Lorraine asap....she calls them within minutes, unless she's on an appointment...

Leads have to handled immediately..how depends upon what information is given...the phone or email. Conversion rate is low as with most internet leads.

Buyer leads are very poor on the conversion ratio. Seller leads are much better.

Joe Petrowsky Contact them immediately or ASAP. Conversion rates are low and they will surely go elsewhere if they don't get an immediate response.

I respond as quickly as I can; I stay in touch. I would guess my conversion rate over the long term is around 5%.

I have not checked the conversion rate. I know many are just lookers as they want to check out listings.

We get a lot of leads from our website - some call/some some email/fill out the form. We try to call as we can usually get the best info that way; if not, we email. We screen based timing, how serious, what they are trying to do.
I don't know conversion rate, but it seems to be pretty high. We get around 30-35% of our biz from it. We do better w/ those that have read several blog posts. And, we try to send some key ones before we meet w/ them and that helps.

So far I have not received leads off of my website. Most of my leads come from referrals or door to door prospecting.

Either I or one of my partners will call ASAP if it's between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm. Otherwise, we call as soon as possible the next time period. Automatic email responder and a targeted drip email campaign that's monitored to see if the emails have been opened. We continue to keep trying until we contact them or they tell us to stop. Probably around a 2% conversion rate to closed sales.

Joe,
We respond immediately. Like John McCormack we are super responders, and I would say 50% convert within a short period of time. The rest may come along eventually sometimes 3-5 years later. A

It depends a lot on where the lead came from -there are a few lead capture forms that I've noticed the conversion rate is nearly 0, while others have a much higher rate, I focus on those ones.

Contact the lead ASAP and respond to what they are needing at the time. I add all my leads to a newsletter database and do drip emails from then on.

I always call if there is a phone number Joe. I offer my services and ask the right questions.

We do not make people sign in for anything on our website. I don't need the added work of trying to help someone who is just nosey. If they call me then I keep in contact sending them new listings in their criteria as soon as they appear. Pretty high conversion of maybe 70%.
