My experience is that there is less jealousy of success in big ponds that have schools of big fish.

Interesting question because I swim in three. Here in Honolulu with about 7,000 agents and brokers, its more anonymous. In Crescent City, CA with around 60, the competition is "hand to hand" if you know what I mean because everyone knows each other. In Carmel-by-the-Sea, a happy medium.
