Yes. I started my own company and opened my first office during the summer after I completed law school.

No, never... I am already essentially my own boss as an independent contractor and at this stage of my life don't want all the other hassles that come with making it complete your own company.

Yes, and I have been my own boss most of my life.

I did that for a long time.  It was a Mack Truck dealership. 40+ employees with a 2 million dollar + payroll. It is a very capital intensive business. We sold it 12 years ago. The risk reward ratio got out f balance. I miss the people and the industry but not the worry.

Yes and I did open my own real estate company about 11 years ago.  I'm also a CPA and served many years as a controller of real estate management and development companies which gave me invaluable experience in setting up companies and handling the paperwork and accounting side of it.  It seems that the paperwork/accounting side of the business would be the most challenging side for business owners if they didn't have that background.

I did until I found out the cost associated with it.  Still considering the idea.

I'm currently living that dream, although on some days it can feel like a nightmare.

I've had my own company for over 20 years and my boss never gives me any time off. 

I have been on my own since 2007. I would not have any other way. It is what you want.

I have however each time i do i remember my corporate life where I worked 18 hours a day babysitting 300+ employees. I then feel blessed to be where I am..

I ran a multi-million dollar company years back for someone else, so fine now running my own independent agent business; working for someone else who handles the managing broker responsibilities. 

Yes, I started my own company in 2004.  I love the flexibility and freedom it affords me...my office line is permanently forwarded to my cell phone, so I never miss a call, no matter where I am.  At this point, the idea of having to work for someone else makes my skin crawl.

I think if I were my own boss, I'd probably quit!

I like to visit family in India so I like the fact that I am not a Broker owner.

Done it several times, real estate was kind of my springboard of Independence then followed by my own consulting company, followed by my own education company. 

Lot's of work, but would not change it for a "job" ever.
