No and you should report it to both his broker and the local real estate board in my opinion.  Falsifying information is wrong and it sounds like that's what the agent did.

I don't understand either. Sounds like the agent wants to inflate his numbers for marketing purposes or he just doesn't get the way things really work.

the recorded price is what should be quoted.... not adjusted prices that reflect credits and/or inflated figures..... I don't understand that....

If he "paid" the seller out of his pocket and it was not reported on the HUD, that's reason alone to call his broker.  Something fishy going on here.
