Good morning Janice. You ask a great question, it is definitely something that is over used, but in some cases, just the opposite.
Make it a great week!
Good morning Janice. I see a lot of self-cleaning ovens that need to be cleaned.
Yes, I think so, but for those who use this that does not seem to be a concern.
Self cleaning fumes are toxic to parrots . My neighbor had a parrot and turned the cleaning cycle on sand it killed the bird
OMG, no ....I don't know what I'd do without it..... I'm not cleaning an oven!!!!
I find the time required for self cleaning a bit excessive. However, I would rather hit that than inhale cleaning fumes and potentially damage the oven in the process of cleaning. I also wonder how the chemicals may affect food cooked in the oven thereafter...
I was told by an appliance guy once never to use it, so I don't. Spray oven cleaner really works well and is easy to do.
That depends on what you cook and how you use it....
Janice Traub No, it does a pretty good job, but it takes forever.
No; we love it.
