both are tough. however, retail has huge sign issues and more traffic (usually) there. neither is easy, but i think both are easier than managing leased residential

The language for both is so different from residential like NNN leases, modified gross leases , stops, vanilla box, build out, Class A-C type of building,
But once you get that then you either have to find space and that's hard to do as it requires driving around . Different mind set but good experience
I have found my office rentals very difficult to rent.
Hank what do you mean by easier? Are you thinking of commercial real estate over residental real estate?
