Just a heads up to legally use any pictures you take from a drone in any marketing you need Section 333 exemption from the FAA. Which is free to apply for, but takes 120+ days to hear back from. Otherwise if someone does get the attention it is quite a hefty fine.

I hire mine out as well.  I've found that in the late spring and summer, the trees block out the great shots.  I've had good luck in early spring and late autumn when the leaves are away.

There are a number of legal issues, procedures as well as restrictions with respect to using unmanned aerial vehicles for commercial use in Canada.  The legislation in Canada is different than the USA.

Nope, I'm not licensed to use it commercially and don't plan to get licensed to use it commercially. BUT, I have hired someone who is and do use it in my marketing.

Legal issues, technology rapidly changing and liability... cheaper for now to sub out the work. Technology starts out at $1500 and in 4 years is $200. 

You need to make sure you are aware of the laws regarding the use of drones for commerical purposes.  And yes selling real estate is a commercial use.

I would hire a professional.  Here in SB, we have a pilot with a license that does them.  Is the property worth being scene from the air, you do no want the neighbor's yard with the trash and the old refrigerator as part of the scene!  A

We hire a service for our drone photography. Sorry, I don't know what equipment they use.
