I guess in a way we all do it, only because we are on the Internet. Most of my information is directly related to my local area, but I do write some posts that are more generic and industry related. However, I do not market to other areas.
Because of my marketing and website, I recently sold a house for a client in Boston who still had a home here in Chandler, AZ.

If you lead generate online, that casts a net far and wide whether intended or not--it's the nature of the Internet. So, the answer would be yes.
