I would say, "bee on the ball and know your marketplace than anyone else, and know where the best places to bea a pollinator are".  In other words, go where the fish are biting, not just go fishing....A

I'm a buterfly

I am the Flower and the Bee, both back and forth is how to do it. I also generate multiple Leads for my Agents so that they can buzz around "pollinating." This is an excellent analogy, creative way to present this question. I'm intrigued by it and happy to answer. I may use this Analogy to my Staff and my Agents if that is okay with you.

I'm more like a hummingbird than a bee  but I do love the honey at the end of the pot .

I have developed strong relationships with referral partners by being a rainmaker. 

I do the pollinating for my team members so they, in turn, can venture forth and pollinate the potential clients who call....

Definitely a bee. I connect people all the time and I'm a referral hub for my database. I'm always in motion and proactively running networking groups and mastermind groups to keep people growing in mind & business. I'm a Business Alliance Leader and Ambassador in our Chamber of Commerce, a group leader in our office and I refer out weekly to my trades, professionals, clients and other Realtors. I wouldn't know how to be a flower unless I was a bouquet and could make someones day.
