It varies. Yesterday I had a guy from Arizona in my truck.

I prefer to have buyers in my car unless they have children with them. No smoking.
Constant conversations can save a lot of time.

It's case by case. Some people have kids and require car seats, so they usually prefer to do their own driving. Other times it's just a matter of time and location. many times the property is midway bewteen us, so we meet at property. Then there are some that I pick up at their homes and take back home when we're finished.

I take them in my car when ever possible.
This is close to the most valuable and leverable time available for connecting with the buyer. I prefer this to spending hours standing in some displaced homeowners driveway spending time.

I like us to be in one car if possible. It's a great opportunity to listen and bond.

Depends on the situation. With people we know we generally take them in our car. With folks we've just met, separate cars. That's usually the way they want it too. Good question.

I rarely do. Most buyers want to meet at the property in separate cars. That being said, I always meet them first before showing them property.

I'm mixed nowadays, depending on the client of course. Florida had some issues, where this was not recommended. Good answers from you folks. Thanks for stopping by.

It depends on how many people and how many homes we have lined up to look at.

I'd say 98% of the time they follow, it just how it ends up working out and I think everyone prefers it.

I require all my independent contractor agents to carry insurance that names my firm as an additional insured and then it's up to them - but strongly suggested in order to create rapport and be able to discuss properties being shown. Since most showings are accompanied, unless there is time to "debrief" outside of the showing, it needs to be done in the car!

I prefer to ride together just so we can talk and if they are from out of town it's key to pointing out nieghborhoods and community features that one would simply drive by unknowingly if someone didn't tell them. However, if the client prefers (whether that simply be a preference, dogs, kids, whatever) to take their own car I roll with it.

I do both. If you're referring to Realtor safety, I don't go out with people I don't know, so having them in my car is not an issue.
