The whole idea in any job is to do a great job. Does it matter where you come from if you cannot do the job. In our field of commercial real estate Roger Staubach (football great) started a commercial real estate company that specialized in relocating large ccompanies. He definitely could get in the door with his fame to the decision makers, because of his celeb recognition...that was not enough, he had to be able to perform and really represent these people for the best deal, and he did. If they want to go through the education and proper tests, passing them, then I don't know why they shouldn't become a Real Estate Agent.
As long as they pass the state exam, more power to them!

They walk into the real estate arena with positive collateral that most agents did/do not possess.

What I have discovered, with rare exception, those who have reached the pinnacle of their chosen field did not achieve it by being stupid even if playing stupid is how they earned their dollars.
They have an advantage. They are going to play it. (SMART).
The last choice, dont care, and have never heard of any of these folks.

Realtors come from so many different backgrounds - that's what makes us interesting!
