It looks to me like it's nothing more than a digital craigslist / yard sale. The apps aren't the problem, it's sitting around waiting for people that called and said they wanted to buy something, then never show up. I assume if you put something valuable on there, you could attract criminals that want to steal or rob you. I got that impression from the ads for it on tv.
