we sometimes react, hopefully we see it coming, but sometimes the day runs us, or tries. but we always have a choice. we are about to shoot a rabbit, and we see a 7 point buck loittering nearby. we go for the big catch usually.

I run my day, but I've always run my day.... if I don't want something in my day, I put a line through it.... or I'll hand it off to someone who will take abuse or put up with tasks they do not enjoy doing....

That could be used for any industry. No different than saying you can be proactive or reactive; to which I would reply that being proactive puts me in a better mindset. MAKE it a great day!
