Caroline - No I have not clicked on the sports spammer, but have reported the spam to AR on many occasions.

No, I do not click the links even if they come from people I know. Unless it has a message for me ( not the weird one that is composed in Nigeria). But since they keep coming, my guess, some people still click them.

No I haven't as I don't have time for all that. My days are super full and any time on AR I spend with friends.

I've only clicked on them to get to the report button. I wish you didn't have to click on it to report it.

Caroline,
Hackers and spammers are good at what they do...I am sure the techs at AR are doing their best to outwit them. A

I have clicked on the posts to report.
I think they need to look into spam prevention measures (e.g. identify where coming from and exclude them). Also, limiting to 1 question a day for non Rainmakers will help.

I "report" it, and comment "Spam Reported", so I get 5 points. LOL I NEVER actually read the message.

Yeh, and then clicked on "report." Read it? Nope. How stupid are these people? Wish there was a way to click "report" without clicking to go there.

Block the IP addresses commonly used by spammers. Aggressively delete user accounts used by spammers. Create programming code to delete posts that are spam posts.

If you're asking click through, no. If you're asking if clicked on to report, yes.

Caroline Gerardo - Like others who have responded I have clicked the "report" feature but not actual gone to the profile or link for those who I believe to be spammers. Has anyone asked ActiveRain if they follow up on "reports"? Ingoring them may not be effective. It all depends on ActiveRains process for handling these reports.

Good Friday morning Carolyn. It's best to ignore them. Hopefully, they will dry up and blow away.
