Yes I do. Too many mistakes get made. Too many people looking for the same moving trucks, etc.

Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Tacoma Washington I try not to settle at the end of the month. It's always good to beat the rush.

Absolutely. I try to close Tuesday through Thursday between the 5th and the 20th of the month.

It depends. Who is the lender? is it because the buyer doesn't have a lot of up front funds for pre-paid interest? Typically I avoid it. That being said, this month we closed two on Friday and one today. One closed two weeks early (today) and the two Friday were both a week late.

Anytime of the month works for me, I actually prefer to do it earlier just to avoid the mass of people that do it towards the end. More mistakes happen towards the end of the month I've found.

No, when they are clear to close we close them, no matter what time of the month it is.

I try to never have a closing on a Friday or a Monday or at the end of the month or god forbid, the end of the year.

No...It is usually better for my buyers and my closing agent is tops and seldom do we have any issues.

No, our market is not so big that it causes much trouble. I do watch the calendar closely though and aim for everything needed for closing to be completed with days to spare.

Things are easier at other times of the month, but no, I definitely don't avoid it. Bring em on!

Yes, if possible, I will try for middle of the month when title companies/attorneys and lenders are less busy.

Not usually. However, I do see attorneys moving it up a few days; if at end of month.
