We should consider using one of these, we generally just ask.

Have never done a survey, have asked what they liked about the transaction and what could have been better.

Erica Simpson I have a 'Customer Survey' form which I give all my sellers and buyers at closing - in stamped, addressed envelope and request them to mail it to me.
Questions? Of course about my service and what would have I done to improve my services. What they liked about me and what they did not.
great idea = and we ask for yelp reviews
I don't ask. People in my estimation don't like surveys and they'll lie on it so as to not hurt your feelings. My advice is "don't waste your time".
Erica Simpson I don't do surveys, but I do have a form with a release asking for a testimonial.
My company sends out a comprehensive questionnaire asking to rate from 1-5 on things like communication, accuracy of information, attention to detail, professionalism, product knowledge, ease of working with, honesty, entusiasm, problem solving ability, etc. It asks if they would refer the agent to friends and relatives, why they chose the agent, what stands out most about the agent, etc. We get a great level of thoughtful responses from our clients.
All the regular blah, blah, blah, communication, blah, blah, responsiveness, blah, blah, blah, market knowledge, blah, blah, blah, negotiation skills.
However, there is only ONE question for which I have great concern.
"Please suggest a service or feature that was not provided that would have been of value to you."
Good morning Erica. We used to do surveys and didn't really get the information that we were looking for. These days, all follow up with a phone call.
Good Wednesday morning Erika. We generally follow up with a phone call and just ask what can we do better to improve our service.
