MIKE ROCK it's bit of both - spending a day with family where there is not too much going in Real Estate helps.

It depends on the holiday. Also, for some holidays, neither of your two choices would be appropriate for me.
Now, I choose my family. My kids are growing too fast, soon they will leave my home......I try to enjoy being with them and spoiling them as often as I can.
One of the perks of being single is capitalizing on the holidays! I absolutely work! You know families are home so your door knocking as an agent is exponentially more fruitful than it otherwise would be. But to be honest I took the Friday before this holiday weekend off so I guess I'm being hypocritical.
Both - it just depends on my plans. If I am going to be around, then I will work. If I have plans to leave town, then I let it go.
I wrote my very first offer on Labor Day weekend 1994. Wrote one today too.
I live in an extremely rural area. The holidays (any of them) are usually very quiet for me, and I look forward to that time to get some rest.
I used to work on almost every holiday. No more. I guess I am in a semi-retirement mood.
Depends on the holiday! Actually, this one I'll be goofing off a bit with my sweetie.
I also love the quite times of the phones not ringing. I like to take some time to relax and catch up things...some are work related projects but also many personal projects. I treasure these times and avoid doing appointments. If I am doing work, it is project work of some sort to take my biz to the next level and not the typical work work.
MIKE ROCK As a commercial real estate broker, I don't work weekends or holidays so i will play with family.
I will take it when I can get it Mike.
We like to take the moments as they come, without necessarily focusing on the dates. What I love is the quiet that comes along with a holiday, and seeing people relax and enjoy themselves...The opportunities always present themselves, and we decide what to do and what is appropriate. A
We work, and we play.
I can do both.
Holidays are holidays
