Never fun dealing with government agencies that hold all the power.

Yes, many times Annette.
Just have to sit down, make a plan to work it out and get started fixing the many parts of the problem.

I have encountered many small problems that have mushroomed into big ones. I just stick with it and work it out one item at a time. I do not abandon ship.

Annette - It just seems that one thing will lead to another, and that's what will make it worse. You fix one thing and that causes something else to go awry. It never ends for me.
It happens a lot more in my personal life than my work.

And when that happens, I plow through it. Problem is, sometimes I should give it up, but that's not in my nature.

Yes. There is no shortage of those stories.
I have purchased homes and then discovered issues that were not anticipated.

Its like sighting one insect in your home. Statistics tell you the ONE represents the many, not just the one. So it is with all things. Why? Everything is interconnected. Wherever there is a problem, there is a queue of them in the wings. Thank God literally they are released gradually to be solved and not able to overwhelm...We were not put here to be defeated NO!

Usually, it is the other way around. It is rarely as difficult as I imagine. The one exception was when I decided to make a leather jacket. I underestimated the difficulty of that! Sewing through 4 layers of leather (such as in the placket) is a task for careful focus because once you make a hole in leather it is there to stay. There was no "regrouping", so I just kept going. It turned out very well, but I would never do it again!!! Good luck with the IRS mileage issue, Annette.
