I wait until that guy from Microsoft calls to advise me they have detected 'malware' in my 'puter....all the way from Bangalore, India, and they will fix my 'puter and all my IT problems.

In reality, I have a great reservoir of exceptional talent from my engagement with STEM sponsorships. Further, those local nerds who participate in CTF and the robotic challenges are all looking for part time or gig work.

I have offered to share this resource many times via intern positions with real estate enterprises who could benefit, but not one raised their hand.

So it off to Staples and BestBuy they must go.

We are all Apple here, and Apple Care. For us, it is the best answer. It saves us time and tech headaches. When we bought the Macs, we had someone close buy set it up, and he is an approved Apple guy. He did a great job and again it saved us time. That is our criteria, time is our luxury. A

Years ago I paid for tech support through Geek Squad. It is a small fee, covers three computers, and they can look at the computer in Best Buy, or call tech support, and they connect to your computer. I have been quite happy.
