Yep just reported them.  Hate those things and have no clue who or why.  

I report them.  AR needs to know it is a problem... and I get a small joy out fo doing it and it gives me a reason to have the Monty Python SPAM skit going. 

I always report them, and the AR folks delete them.  Got another email yesterday from someone pretending to be a buyer.

I report every single one I have to scroll past, but I don't patrol for them.

I used to report spam questions until about a month or so ago.  When that particular batch of spam questions appeared, and I had clicked on the question, I was automatically redirected to the spammer's site (that is, I was no longer on ActiveRain).

It appears that the spammer was somehow able to inject some redirection code into the question to cause the redirection.  Who knows if there is malicious code at the other site.

DUE TO THIS EXTREMELY SERIOUS SECURITY ISSUE, I no longer report spam questions and I do NOT click on them anymore. (All cap letters are intentional.)

Wonder what the point of the spamming is?  I just ignore it.

Ar-yes.  eMail-delete. Last time I unscribe I start getting more crap on a daily basis.

My son went to a spam conference for IT professionals. He told me 90% if WWW traffic is loaded with spam, pfish, spoof constipate the infor highway. Most are from Eastern Europe, Asia...  Yahoo, Google filter out these or at least sort them out. I actually wish they will just flush them before getting to users...

Since Ben has decided to spam us with ads for his company, I can't take offence by those who see I have a real need to see all of season 4 of Friends.

I try not to waste my time on it.  I have no control over it and try not to waste my energy.  I did just do a question on AR pop up that was starting to bother me a bit.  And as a fun post made light of a 'business opportunity' from abroad I received through Active Rain, although not related in any form.  Spam will always be there.  I look thru spam on email from time to time looking for a missed email.  Can not believe all that gets thrown in there without me ever seeing it, thank goodness.  Mark
