Have had numerous buyers who want to buy a home so their children do not have to pay outrageous fees. The unfortunate fact every other investor has checked out these neighborhoods. Very competitive price and most parents do not want to overbid.... This is not in Providence, RI.

I used to live in that area. Good economy. Not sure of housing prices, but from friends who rented there in their 20s, they enjoyed living there until rent went way up. If you do a student housing project, make sure it is affordable. How close would the housing be to public transit? Is it more near Thayer Street, or more downtown near the Providence Place Mall?
