I dress professionally always  first impression its very important and then you have to keep up the professional look, i don't want them thinking of me like their drinking buddy over the transaction .once done if the invite me to a casual party or formal party i will dress for the occasion .just me and my opinion

I am the only one in my office who wears a button-down and tie each day. For my closings, I wear a suit. Each of the other agents is dressed in what I will colloquially call "business casual."

Of course not. Only eccentric billionaires can get away with that :) The rest of use have to  put ourselves together and look professional

You won't find too many Realtors dressed in suits in FL where the temps are mostly in the 80's and 90's, aside from that, most buyers and sellers are very casual and I find that they feel more comfortable and relaxed if I'm dressed in business casual.

No I try to dress professionally but not over the top. I usually have some sort of jacket on and makeup and jewerly.

Whatever fits the occasion. I wouldn't wear a suit to meet an Oklahoma farmer or rancher but I also wouldn't wear overalls to talk to an executive. When I represent NAR there is a dress code and that is always wear a tie.

business casual is how my team members dress.... except when we're walking land or showing new construction in the mud and muck and mier....

We keep a business casual environment in our office.  However, most everyone has a change of dress clothing in their office, should the need arise to be more dressed. 

Since I do not have their money yet I have to look like I am working hard so I dress casual but not that casual!

I tend to dress casual.  California is a very casual place.  For open houses and appointments, I'm in a polo shirt and nice "tactical pants" (think cargo pants that look nice, have even MORE pockets to put stuff and are made out of rip, stain and wrinkle resistant material).

Training classes, I tend to show up in shorts and a t-shirt or gym attire (sometimes the class is right after my gym session).

I dress business casual. It depends on the area. You are not going to see suits and ties in "The Hamtons" during the Summer.

Sam - It is very common to dress casual here in Arizona. Even businesspeople tend to dress more casual. You will rarely see anyone in a suit.

Business casual for me.  It works well in Florida.  Too hot for suits here.

I have no idea what they dress like, on most days I dress kind of woodsy.  Occasionally, I will wear a tie.

I dress very casually.  I don't wear make up.  And in the summer I'm generally found in open toe sandles.  I do tend to dress a little nicer for closing day.  But I show lake property and casual is the rule around here.

No, but most of the agents in our community dress casually. It is often interesting to see that the top agents are usually better dressed.

Here on Kauai it's usually Tommy Bahama style resort wear.

As a woman, this is a difficult question to answer since I wouldn't dress like either Zuckerberg or Jobs... But if I had to choose, I would probably dress more like Steve Jobs.  He was consistent so everyone always knew what to expect. I believe it is extremely important to make sure you are appropriately dressed for the situation. As an agent, business casual would be my constant, unless I'm painting or showing property in the snow:).

Depends on the day.  If I have appointments, I will dress accordingly. 

Never, ever! And I can tell you that if a Realtor approached me for my personal business dressed that way, they most likely wouldn't get it.
