My water comes straight off of Grand Mesa. It's minimally processed because it's so good.

I am a HUGE tap water fan here in Louisville. Of course, my understanding is that our water company actually wins national awards for its water.

Wow - that is pretty sad that you can't drink your tap water! Ours is perfect and yes, I do test it annually just in case. I don't believe in spending money on bottled water when I have no guarantee that it is not simply tap water.

Our water is fine out of the tap unless they are going crazy with the clorine!
We have a filter on ours and most of the places I buy coffee from also has the tap water filtered. Wish I was back on the farm with the spring it was always good.

Good Tuesday morning Doyle. Unless you have a well from a deep aquifer, most processed 'city' water has God knows what in it.

I think, it depends on the location. The tap water in Los Angeles district is probably not safe. I buy filtered water and Alkaline.
For those who like bottled water, read this:
" bottled water is any safer than what comes out of the tap. In fact, regulations governing bottled water in the United States are nearly identical to those imposed on public drinking water. The bottom line: Spending more on water doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s any safer to drink."~ source.

Whether or not it's safe, it tastes pretty awful, unless I put it through my Britta filter.

Tap water in Princeville is safe and tested regularly. We like reverse osmosis so installed that plus additional filtration in our house.

Read up on the local tap water in the two areas that I reside and have been fine with using filtered water.
