WE ended up with over 20 inches in our front yard. We are lucky that we are in a sandy area and the run off was fairly quick and the Sun has been out for 2 days.. Very Thankful for Warm Sunny Days..

I know what that much rain looks like. Here in the Tampa Bay region of Florida, every few years we get another event.

Those areas not equipped for tropical storm type of weather will experience incredible damage. And if the terrain is not level, everything on the way down is destined to be swept away.

The heroes and horrors are revealed when the community must work together to recover. Given the opportunity, we can see there are heroes all around us. Most of them do not wear uniforms.

We had somewhere around 15 inches between Friday night and Saturday... but it was raining for a week prior and since Saturday until yesterday, so I'm sure the final amount is over 18 inches by now.
