Captain Wayne - I typically try to know what I am doing each day, but it depends a lot on whether I have a buyer client, seller client, transaction in process, or have nothing going on, and need to work on my marketing to generate more business.

I start each day with a routine -- I'm usually up by 6, and I spend a few hours answering emails,following up on anything that can be done electronically, checking new/changed MLS listings, commenting/blogging on ActiveRain, checking facebook. Then if it's a workout day, I go for a run or walk, and then the rest of the day is dependent upon meetings/appointments/goals/etc.

every one of my days has a specific routine....and my day ALWAYS STARTS WITH A 5:15 am WORKOUT AT THE YMCA.... then my workday begins at 7:00am in the office....I've been here for over an hour already....

Normally our appointments vary.  Some days we have listing appointments, showings, closings, inspections, etc.  

We always have to be flexible.  

The only thing that is certain every work day is setting aside one solid hour for lead generation and touching our database.
