In addition to actually generating business, I feel that the time we spend on AR is an investment. We learn a lot from other members and have become better realtors because of them.

It took several years for my first lead, but the person told me thy had followed me for more than 2 years.

As there is always something new happening it is a great place to learn.

It is also nice to see how my area compares to others.

And the camaraderie is great.

Real estate agents actually live isolated lives behind those smiley faces compared to most of society. 

People are on AR for different reasons. Some may not even know that they got the business from AR. Consumers often tell us they see our name all over the internet . There are retired members who blog on AR too. It has become a social networking site like facebook for people.

well, it has generated business plus recognition from readers regarding my blog posts....and my online marketing complements my offline marketing.... so, the bottom line would be to improve how you present your blog posts....

the one Real Estate transaction I received from AR paid enough for the next ten years. I still get business from my other endeavor as well. Add fun to it and how can you lose?

First, it definitely has produced biz for me.  Secondly, it strengthens the links to my site which in turn brings me a TON of business.  Third, I learn a lot here and get wonderful marketing ideas which also helps my biz.  Fourth, it is fun and a nice break for the day.

I get several transactions per year due to my presence here on AR.

I do it for the relationships and the fun of it.

I have not been consisant enough to expect to generate business yet. I do enjoy the comraderie and I frequently learn something new. Reading your blog tonight introduced me to a new term "Rec Lease"

It's work's in my market. This week alone, recieve two calls. Both state they found me on the Internet. I have placed post in Spanish. One caller was Spanish, go figure....

It is a long term payoff, it may take years to get one lead but someone you write now can still get you a lead years down the road. Also it is a great branding tool until those leads start flowing in.

The learning is also great, you can avoid some costly mistakes by learning from others or get new ideas.

There has been business for me from AR but I'm sure there are more than a few who enjoy this format for the FUN and EDUCATION that can be found here on a daily basis.
