Probably a mistake.  I would send AR an email.

I thought I'd read that management was going to thin out the number of groups, but I don't know the criteria they planned to use to determine which ones. 

As I mentioned in my email to James, we recently attempted to clean up groups. In doing so, we removed any group that had not been posted to in the last year (I had incorrectly told James in my email that it was the last six months).

As I told him, I will check with the developers to see if we can have it reinstated. Although I'm not sure how valuable a group is today that hasn't been posted to in over a year. That being said, maybe it was posted to recently and it was removed as part of that process by mistake.

I didn't know it existed but have enjoyed you blog posts about trivia. I will join if for no other reason to support you.

That may be related to the update they just did.  It could be a mistake, not sure.  Ask Bob Stewart .  All the rest of us are just speculating.

James Dray yes, ActiveRain is 'pruning' the groups, there are too many inactive groups here.

One of the criteria is posting in the group - and I see your posts there.

Please share the update with us on what happened to your request to reinstate the group.
