My raking will be done in the fall. Fortunately, the City of Gaithersburg has a leaf pick up program.

No leaves here in Vegas this year, I used to make big piles back in the midwest and leave those until spring.

Off the lawn!  Hard to keep up with them!  You can get the all blown off the property, only to turn to around and a wind gust dropped a million more!  lol!  It is impossible to get all before snow hits, but the midwesterns do their best!

this is another reason I love living in a condo.  I don't need to worry about that.  It is beautiful here now.

I'm fine with leaving them on the lawn, and I collect them from around the neighborhood to mulch the garden.

We remove them in the fall because we have found that they will kill the grass if we wait until spring.

I do some now and the rest in the spring

It is a good mulch for the grass over the winter.

We have very few deciduous trees here in the tropics. But we do rake them up and add them to the compost bin.

No raking here.

We have regualr lawn service and they also clean out the gutters.

I wait until the fall the use the mowere to pick them up.

No leaves here in Las Vegas, but if they were I think  Id leave them there.

I have BIG leaves on my front tree, and try to keep them cleaned up every couple of days, but the back yard I am more lax about.    Clean most, but some wait until spring.

When I had my last free standing home, I would have to bag 20 bags a weekend for about a month plus. I went crazy seeing them on the yard, hated how messy it made it look.
