They never even know that I am gone...of course, that may be due to the fact that I haven't been out of town for a long, long time
very, with technology we are always available. Now that is "out of town". on VACATION is another issue.....we shut down most of the day and check in twice.
ALWAYS bring my laptop plus my phone. My REALTOR friend is watching my business, but if she calls, I know I need to answer.

Smart Phone is alway handy as is the laptop. Buying or Seling a home is far too important to totally shut out the client.
We keep in cntact with our clients, as if we never left town.
Most of the time I take a laptop or at least a Kindle Fire. But when I go for a week or two into the wilderness areas --- there is absolutely no communication -- not even cell phones.
