No I most certainly do not.  I do entertain discussion with owners of restaurants and chefs and, if asked, I will provide my contact details for further discussion. 

If there is a chance to win a free luch for my office, sure why not!  I don't leave them with the check, that's tacky and can be seen as trying to hit on the waitress.  Don't want to be remembered in that way!

Hello Cap.  I put 5 cards in my pocket everyday to be disbursed to people I come in contact with during the day.  Not farming or door knocking.  Just people like you mention.  Mark

No. Occasionally, I'll tack one up on a bulletin board at stores I visit. I don't think anyone ever called me from that though.

I used to have my wife leave them in the woman's bathroom at high end restaurants! I got some pretty amazing calls. I tell new Realtors--grab 20 business cards and don't go home without giving them out to 20 folks who you've gotten to tell you about their plans for real estate!

Talking about real estate everywhere you go and asking if they know anybody selling their house leads to referrals and buying more houses.
