My friends and family laugh at me because I am so disappointed that we've not come as far as I expected when I was growing up watching the Jetsons!  Yes, many of the BTTF gadgets have come to be but there is so far to go. 

I want my robot maid, my flying car, I fully expected futuristic utopia !

PS  Did you know Mr. Spacely, George's boss and owner of Spacely Space Sprockets, a company founded in Newfoundland in 1937, where it continued to prosper until massive surface pollution necessitated a move to the elevated platforms seen in the series   (I find that very cool!)

No, I did not think I'd be a Realtor when I was a kid.  I wanted to be a highly compensated computer geek.  I knew computers were for me at the age of 12.  Did RE part time in college and while working full time in corporate IT (often having a 40 hour job, plus two real estate part time jobs all while going to school for my Masters Degree).

After accomplishing my career goals within IT at 36, I retired from that life and went back into real estate full time to be my own boss and have a much higher quality of life.

I most certainly didn't picture myself as a real estate broker. I would have laughed at that idea when I was kid.

No, but as a youngster I knew that I loved architecture, design, and home building, so maybe just a tad, but didnt' realize it yet.

I think so, my career has not changed much in last 25+ years... but my attitude has dramatically changed.  for the better that is...... 

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a millionaire. I have a drawing from when I was about 8 years old stating that with the numbers written at the top. I've been looking for it in boxes lately because I want to put it on my vision board. My parents gave it to me a few years ago and I was a little surprised that I thought that way at such a young age. Nothing has changed, except maybe now I'd like to be a billionaire instead.

No, never. I wanted to be a pilot and I still do but no longer for an airline but just for pleasure.

I'm actually right about where I thought I'd be. I live in the same city in roughly the same economic status. Kids, careers. It's comforting. 

Nope. I guess we never know about one's future till we actually reach it.
