Well, they don't always "own" their home from what the documentaries say on PBS.

In China, they have whole cities of condos built even now, with no takers. The Chinese government and business has adopted a "build it, and they will come" from what I have read.

As far as how many homes, they are very big into "family" there, often staying in the home until marriage, or even later, so it would be hard to put a number on it directly.

The reason that I am not selling in China.....I hate to drive more than an hour to a showing!

Assuming them all to be of child bearing age...and all female, the next important piece of data is the mortality rate. How may residences will become available. My guess is 18 million, the rest will be in some Chinese prison because they google Magna Carta, which by the way the Chinese government restricted to the UK embassy, after agreeing to it's exhibition throughout China, for fear of one of the top ten threats to their country, a democracy style government.
