Whoever said that is correct in saying that if an agent isn't giving good customer service, they'll find it elsewhere. But what does that have to do with working for Zillow? And since when is Zillow known for it's customer service? They need to learn something about customer service themselves!

No, I am willing to put money on a bet that my teams service is better then whatever big Z comes up with. 

The same thing is being said about RF.  They offer generous rebate, Your listing is being shown by their agent. So many years later, they got <3% total business.

What may change is the info is available to everyone and buyers will be buying w/o that many buyer agents in the future.

I've seen some of those acquisitions being discussed.  I just don't see them catching on.  And no, I'm in this business to work for myself so there is no way I'm going to work for Z.  There will always be people who go with Realtors instead of a faceless entity.  Same reason I still use the checkstands with people at them as opposed to the self checkout ones.
