My plan is to pay off all my homes.  Right now my tenants are paying off the rentals and my house!

Richie, we paid off three of our investment properties in the last three years, and currently have only 5 years left on our home.

Just sold a home and renting currently. Debating next move to pay cash or get a mortgage. With rates this low, a mortgage makes sense!

Richie, I chose to do this long ago.. I am debt free.  It's a great feeling and I don't know how it would feel to have a loan on something.  

Done it and it feels wonderful. I highly recommend it as a goal.

I own 2 free and clear but my home has a small mortgage for right off/tax purposes. Once I retire that will be history though!

I say use the bank if monies are under 5%. thats cheap in my opinion.  better off keeping your liquid cash. answer.. paying off second that is over 5%..
