I disable comments when I reblog somebody. I would prefer the comments go the original post.

I've seen a few and it baffles me. I am always tempted to write them and ask why... and emphasize what great connections can be made by interacting within ActiveRain. I think most of them don't really get what an interactive platform this is.

Roger Mucci just did that and it is so frustrating! There is a team in Naples that always disables their comments.

I haven't noticed that. I have seen in the past reblogs and some market reports with disabled comments.

Doyle Lee Austin Davison Iv happens with some posts. I personally allow the comments on all my posts.
I believe, there may be some posts and bloggers who do not like the comments or avoid discussion about the topic covered in the post.
Or may be for some personal reason they do so..

No. I am no longer seeing as many blogs with disabled comments. You receive points on comments even with re-blogs.

I did not want to name any post or any people because I did not want anyone to think I was picking on them or putting them down. I was just curious because I was ready to comment after reading the blog and noticed that comments had been disabled.
Kind of a weird feature for Active Rain to limit/disable blogging...
