No. I put my money and effort into a "green" lifestyle by composting, reducing energy use, reusing and recycling almost everything.

I probably do, but buying an organic food, alkaline water, and natural clothes, driving hybrid, etc. ~ makes me feel better.

Most people who buy all that "green" crap really have no idea what it really means, just victims of good marketing.

We spent hundreds/thousands to be green and efficient but not just to say we are green. We actually want to save money in the long run.

No and I think that those that do are foolish. Real savings are those that count.

For me it is all about the Return on investment. What would you consider a nice payback on your investement , 1 year, 2 years .... Also remember after that payback the next many years is money in your pocket. Take a look at ROI on your Green Home Improvements here on AR.

I use mostly electronic forms and e-signatures. Comes as part of my dues so I say I'm green.
The whole "green fad" that all the businesses went through was so transparent it was funny to those of us who are more cynical. I remember two jobs back I worked at the corporate HQ for a the largest music instrument retail sales company. They had a "Green Team" and to submit any idea it had to save the company at least $500,000 per year... there was NO "carbon footprint" reduction requirement. Then they gave out green colored mugs for coffee at an annual green celebration... that had LEAD!!!! Yeah, they did not like my department for pointing that one out!

No, doing that is not green. When something is working just fine makes no sense or green sense to replace it.

Good Thursday morning William. I think that green is more of a mindset than anything else.

William Feela just to stay 'green', spending hundreds of dollars in not worth.
Some people still do it!

there are many gimmicks, there are true helps to the economy and to the environment, and sometimes they arent the same. :)
do i , no. BUT i have found green items that do save the environment and money in construction. its a win win. but people are NOT willing in 95% of the cases to spend extra. they SAY they will, but in reality they dont
