Absolutely, my wife would not miss the opportunity to create one of these big dinners at least a few times every year.

We typically spend Thanksgiving with good friends and they always have a traditional turkey dinner.

About 7 years ago I switched to Honey Baked Ham.

Why?  The scraps turn into the most incredible "Welcome to Winter" soup imaginable.  I guess you can say I do the ham for the leftovers. That is not so unique I realize.

Yes.  Thanksgiving was last month in our great nation.

Heck no!  I'm anything but traditional with my food choices.  The family usually goes to a buffet somewhere and turkey is the last thing I eat (if I eat it at all).  Tamales, ribs, BBQ, sushi, prime rib... that's thanksgiving to me (and Christmas too).  I eat chicken and turkey most of the year, so a thanksgiving turkey is nothing special.

Yes we do prepare the traditional turkey dinner.  Everyone brings an item and I usually make pecan pies plus the turkey and dressing.  Love my dressing and sides for days!!  Can't believe it's almost turkey time.  Do you have the traditional dinner?

Yes, and we love it!

Yes to the tradtional dinner; the hard part is to cut back the sides to feed two!

This year there will be about eight or ten that have no family so it is all out!

As the shelter will be in the morning til noon it will be a late dinner this year.

We haven't eaten meat in 3 years, so no.  Amanda's mom does come over to our place and cooks everybody else a turkey though.

Absolutely!  It's one of our family's favorite traditions.  We love to spend time find great new recipes to mix it up every year, but we still stick with a big bird as the centerpiece.  

Actually we go and have Dim Sum.

Yes that is about the only traditional thing that happens in this house!

Yes, we always have a traditional turkey dinner. Sometimes we also have ham. And we always have several pies too. It's the only day of the year, and Christmas, that I eat like this so I enjoy it.

Yes we do and always have lots of leftovers. My husband is the turkey chef, everyone else makes the sides and desserts.
