We have opportunities for floor duty, if we want. While I took advantage of it as a new agent (and picked up clients from it) I have not participated in floor duty for many years. We have a large office in a prime location, though, so we see a fair amount of traffic in addition to sign calls.

They make a monthly schedule rotating agents to take walk-ins and calls. It is used mostly by the new agents as the seasoned ones are busy with their own business.

We don't on the office level, but the brokers website does rotate the leads as they come through, though they are few, and far between with over 90 of us.

I use my own methods to generate leads, not depending on them.

My firm has no "desk duty." If a call comes in, it's referred in alphabetical order to an agent who can then decide whether or not to take the call/lead.

Yes a lead rotation and floor duty policy is in force. With 149 agents, the commitment is very little. AND you need not be present to win. And yes, this has been beneficial in directing real business to me based solely on REMAX brand recognition. I direct NONE of my advertising to the office telephone numbers.
