Richie- it depends (standard answer).  I probably am a reactor on some occasions in that I jump right in and act. 

I react in my head or I vent to an uninvolved party.  Otherwise, I usually respond.  

The assistant to a lender commented on how calm and quiet I was being in light of a terrible situation they caused.  I advised her that quiet is the silent sound of rage.

I like to take some time to think out a situation to see what would be the best decision.

I usually have a reaction first but settle down and then respond after I have had time to think it through.

I believe that I respond  --- at leat I try not to react quickly.

I am trying to get over with my 'last minute' habit - and have been successful, to an extent I must say (or else I would have been answering this question at 2 AM EST....lol!)

Depends on the issue, but usualy I respond.

I try mostly to respond as it gives the thought process time to react and my Irish temper in a reaction might not be as nice.

I would suggest we all react inside. I try to keep the reaction inside and respond on the outside.

I am a "responder".  Reacting is emotional.  Responding is a rational response.  I generally don't speak when I am tempted to react on an emotional level.  I think about it, try to consider the other persons position, then respond accordingly.  

Depends on the situation and how long I stop to think about it before I do either.

Good morning Richie. Most of the time I would respond, but on a rare occasion I would react.

I do not react nor respond if I'm upset or have not enough information. I focus on finding a way to fix the situation peacefully. If the situation requires a quick reaction, I can be quite fast and efficient.
