Personally, I do not find Donald Trump to be rude.  I find him blunt, direct and to the point.  I like that he speaks the same way to everyone, male or female, CEOs or unemployed.  I'm so sick of being cushioned and the PC nonsense.

I don't find him mean but I can why you say that.

I find him "refreshingly honest" and so does a very large part of the electorate that is sick and tired of the Washington status quo. People are angry, fed up with politics and they want real change in our government. Donald Trump is filling that vacuum right now.

So, I think what you are hearing is more anger than meanness. 

He is an actor. An actor is someone that adds exaggeration to an ordinary situation. In his case, it is a vain and selfish dynamic as he seeks out what his billion cannot buy but he thinks it might. God literally help us if it does

It is never acceptable to be rude. However,  I do think Trump is expressing bluntly a level of frustration that many people are feeling.

I think that meanness and rudeness has always been around, and some has been masked by Political Correctedness.  I was laughing when I read that the BBC had decided not to mess with the Monthy Python skits that are not PC.  A

He does a great job of pissing off the PC crowd. For that I applaud him. We need more of that these days. Personally, I'm getting sick and tired of people trying to control how I should be living my life. It's time we stand up and take back our country!

Don't blame Trump for the general breakdown of society. This situation has deteriorated dramatically over the last 7 years, not recently.

I am a Republican,  I am for Donald Trump and I don't care who knows it.   I don't believe it is acceptable to be rude to anyone if you can help it.  The politically correctness in this country has made people afraid to speak out.   Donald Trump's tone speaks volumes.  

There are bullies on every playground.   

Meanness and rude remarks are never acceptable.  

Some people definitely need to be sent to the Principal's office.

It's not acceptable for anyone to be rude. I doubt if Trump has made others decide to be rude. Maybe they just tolerate him because they are sick of the status quo.

I know his numbers as of this past three days are about 10 points higher now, so he must be resonating with some side of his party.

Also, I as I listen to older business, entrepreneur and social media podcasts, I am amazed as to how often he is quoted. Going back several years, I hear his name mentioned, or his actions highlighted.

He is the focus of people turning against the status quo in Washington! Only time will see if it lasts!

Are people really paying attention to him? I find him very un-influential. Society through the cover of social media is letting their own mean spirit out with ease these days.

It was ALREADY acceptable, thanks in no small part to the SM curtain from which tiny people can hide and strike. Trump is popular because people are tired of being told how to feel. It's refreshing, and has opened up a dialogue we've been needing for a long while.

Donald Trump has created the space we have been looking for the past decade.

Now, we are empowered to have "THE TALK" without having to use our words. Those who keep spewing vapors referring to a 'national conversation' has seen their wishes come true. Are they engaging in the national conversation or have the attacked the messenger and deflected the real issue?

The evidence shows those who were spewing had no intent of engaging.

No, Trump has not make others more rude. He has created a greater empowerment to demand real answers that are actionable.

Has it been considered that Trump has chosen to 'fall on the sword' in a effort to be the catalyst that changes the direction in which we are headed?

Trump has not made it acceptable to be rude.  

Trump does what he does partly for the entertainment/attention value. Don't think anyone would follow his example or be able to pull it off. 

Never acceptable, and I wish someone would teach him some manners before he becomes the next President, it will be embarrassing to have that kind of behavior in the White House.

Good morning Dennis. His popularity is not surprising to me, so many are feed up with politics in the country, but does say some outrageous stuff.

Trump is Trump. No one expects from him to be polite or be nice. 

Trump says what other people want to say, but don't.

Candor and bluntness are no problem at all.

Trump distorts facts and has been known to just make things up. As most politicians do, but for some reason he's being upheld as this great guy because he lies louder and meaner? I don't get it.
