Absolutely  -- we have far too many career politicians.  I think there should be term limits for every elected office in the nation.

Wow, lots of political questions today.  Fun!  Yes.  I believe they should.  I believe that if you spend too much time outside of the workforce and in the "ivory tower" you lose touch with the people and what they face.

yes. we need to return to the citizen politician . no more 12 16 18 years and more. 4 years for congress , 1 term for senate (6 years is enough) and you can combo them (ten years max) absolute power corrupts absolutely

Most definitely and the term limit is a lifetime limit. Meaning, the politician cannot return to the same seat after vacating for at least one term by an alternate. This is how Russia worked when Medvedev and Putin swapped seats.

If you lived in the State of West Virginia the past 70 years, one would realize this state would remain in the poverty belt of the Appalachian Mountains. Lacking any population to assert clout ONLY the tenure of Sen Byrd allowed so many Fed Gov agencies to locate there. The Dept of Public Dept and more recently the FBI data center all all the newly appended Homeland Security apparatus.

Term limits will make those state with a small voice absolutely invisible, irrelevant and giving their taxes to the thug states.

Hell YES!  We would not be in the messs we are in if elected officals could only serve a limited time.  It is good enough for the president it is good enought for Congress & the Senate.

No I don't I think the experience senators and congressmen do a great job unfortunately far too many of our congressmen are being paid by special interests rather than the taxpayers that should change

No but I would like to see a more common sense approach to congressional districts where the power of the incumbency typically means no turnover.
