I check out the section a lot because I specialize in referrals.  The concept is great but the system is not very effective.

 From personal experience and many, many conversations, I have found that much of the material is out of date, incorrect, and difficult to use effectively.

 I think there is a need for a completely revamped section here in ActiveRain to facilitate referrals -- it would be a huge service for members.

No I haven't. When I have had the opportunity to refer I usually know immediately who I want to use by their activity on AR.

When the time comes I will use this resource, but so far I've already known the agents I want to send a referral out to. Although I should check it for incoming referrals. 

I check it periodically but have never seen a viable referral for my area, myabe I'm missing something.

Good morning Bob. I refer clients of mine to AR members all the time, if I don't see a person in any specific area, I will ask a question to get a name or two.

I have not used it to post referrals. 

I don't use that section of AR.

I do at times, though more often than not I will use the leader board to search for potential referral agents on my own.

Judging from a question I previously asked regarding this very same topic, it appears many of the members here prefer to refer their business more on a personal (agent to agent) note, rather than posting it on the referral board.

No. I have never used the Referral Network.

Bob - I really wish this was used better, and more often by agents here in AR. I think this could be a really good resource.
