What are we, squirrels?   The only time I'm slow'sh is July when people are in vacation mode; too hot, too buggy, too humid, too lazy to look at property.  In the winter - let's rock!!!

Why is it a slow season.  Plenty of people will be selling and buying from now until mid-February.

I don't anticipate a slow season.  I've got a busy December lined up, with business in the pipeline for January as well.  Many agents I know are experiencing the same.

No such thing as a slow season here in San Diego, the 4th quarter is my second busiest working in my business and the first quarter is the absolute busiest working on my my business. Then 2nd & 3rd quarters are naturally busy for doing both. You control your economy, not some mystical "season".

Tony, I hope you are right as we need some time off!  The real estate market here is still on fire!!!

Tony - Statistics will show that home sales do slow down here in Arizona during the winter months. However, I had a pretty good winter last year, and am hoping for a repeat this year.

I usually have a busy January and December is busy enough to make me happy. I don't mind a little slower so I can get my systems tweaked and ready for the busy season.

Does not seem it will to slow here in Southwest Florida!

That's a very busy time for us here in central Florida. There is a buyer for every property, in any season or time of the year. 

I usually prospect well enough that this time of year still provides a few closings.  Nice to be a little slower with the Holiday events.

Doesn't slow down here. Winter is sometimes very busy on the islands.

For whatever reason I have always found December through February to be a very good time of year. Often luxury homes sell during this period.

I was prepared for the slow time, however, we are seeing as much as activity as in the summer.

No! I'm {this close} to having my start-up costs covered so I can become official. Guess if there is a slow season here in the Metro Denver area I'll be diving into it and learning how to stir up business despite the speed of the "season".

It's a busy time of year.  Things such as the 2013 Ice Storm cause short term slowdowns because hydro needs to be restored over several days and fallen trees need to be removed.  Otherwise, it depends on how the weather is.

When I first got into real estate, there were two old agents in the office who told me that nobody buys and sells in the winter, and they had never closed a deal in the winter. Thankfully I didn't listen to them. I'm always busy in the winter. Its mindset, if you say you won't get any business in the winter, YOU WON"T!
