I always make the same ones every year. It is so much more efficient to recycle the same ones each year

I've made some very half hearted attempts in the past.

I make them daily!

One resolution is to reduce the amount of time spent on ActiveRain.

I just talked to a friend and he gave a promise to do this and that ''next year''. Why to wait? If you want to do something do it NOW!

Do you have to say them aloud, or write them down for them to count?

I know I've mentioned some in years' past, but none come to mind right now!

I have several goals for next year and plan to make every one of them.

Yes, I just made it a couple of minutes ago when I wrote on another blog. So I have to keep it. What is it? Keeping up blogging next year. I had a few months when I just didn't feel like it. Today I received a call from a potential client who "enjoys my blogs" so I'm motivated to keep it up.

I think most subconscious minds do a big ol' eyeroll at annual resolutions, and when one is ready to effect change, they will wake up one day and realize they are already doing it.

Me neither.  Not worth it in my opinion.

I don't make them for New Year's but I did decide many moons ago on how I would live my life every day and therefore, every year!

Have you ever considered having other people deciding and making resolutions on your behalf?

Oh Yeah I've made them in the past, but not in the last ...lets say 5 years.  

I have made them in the past.  Though, not any more.

I did when I was young and foolish or when asked as a subject for conversation; no longer!

they never worked out.... but now that I'm healthy and fit, I guess they finally worked out well!!!!

No, I don't. I've never been a New Year's Resolutions fan. I make changes in my life whenever they are the right thing to do. So I might start changing things on March 4th or July 15th. Whenever it's necessary!

I like to define and revisit my intentions, priorities and commitments.

Roger D. Mucci i have too because I have pretty good SEO on my website but never blog. Blogging quality appealing content can take up to 2 hours to craft. However this and using my Max 5 trainer are my two New Years goals.

Since 90% of people fail to keep their resolutions, I don't make them.  That way, I'm ahead of the game!

I take the same stance with golf.  If the goal is to get the lowest amount of swings, then by not playing I'm winning with 0 swings!

Nope.  Every day is time for a resolution in my book, but just for that day.  

Roger, I am always resolving ... each and every day of the year ... to be better tomorrow than I was the preceding day. 

I can be a procrastinator at times so I like to wait until December 31 to make my New Year's resolutions for the year that is about to close -- it's amazing how many I achieve.   It's one of those small things that makes me feel quite satisfied.

I resolved never to make any New Years' Resolutions.   Nobody keeps them, why bother?

Nope!  They are a waste of energy.

I don't really do this anymore. I have my goals for next year already in mind. 

Roger, Nope.  I've always figured if I need to do something, I need to just do it without regard to the calendar.  My only real resolution is to try to avoid writing the previous year on anything in the new year :)
