Yes I did on two laptops and it messed both of them up. I found out later that the laptop brands did not have worarounds for some of the Windows 10 upgrades. I reverted back to 8.

I bought windows 8 when it came out and THAT was the grave mistake. Windows 10 has been great and I have had no issues at all with it.

I haven't yet.  But I have heard from many who have liked it as well as others like you who've had issues.

TeamChi - Complete Home Inspections, Inc. I don't know if it a grave mistake, but I upgraded when it first was available. Sounds like Microsoft just stuck it to you. The only major problem I had was the latest Windows 10 update no longer supports parallel ports. My printer stopped working. I did fix it by purchasing a parallel to USB cable and my printer is working again.

Windows 10 has some quirks that bother me! My son upgraded me and left me in the dust! It is a learning curve.

No, I've never had success with an upgrade so I avoided it.  

No.  My new laptop came with 10 loaded, and we have an IT guy at the office who installed it on my pc there.  Have not had any problems.

Only during the first week, when Windows put upgrades on the upgrades that hadn't been upgraded yet.  The computer had no idea what it wanted to upgrade, so it shut down the computer.  Since the correction, I have not had problems.

No Windows 10.  I have a Mac!

Sorry you are having trouble. I will be waiting until at least the Spring to upgrade and will then do it one machine at a time.

I haven't done this yet, and I don't want to. That's only because I don't have to have to learn something new. I've heard good things about it until your question. 

No 10 for me.  Too many privacy concerns there.

I have not upgraded yet.  My thought is if it works, I can accomplish more work if I plan to upgrade when I have plenty of time to learn the new software. 

I switched to W10 the day it first came out. No negatives for me at all. You might want to run some spyware and antivirus programs on your PC to see what they can find and correct.

I guess I won't install it now!  Had been waiting to make sure all my software would be compatible.

Your home inspection software can easily run on a Mac. We have Windoze 8 installed on all of our Mac computers just in case we have to convert a file or test some software. It actually runs faster on a Mac than a dedicated PC.

No. I have not.  I know the day will come when I need to upgrade but ... that day is not here yet.  It will likely come with my new laptop which I intend to get late in 2016.  I hope you get the issues resolved soon.

I would still be on XP if it was supported!  I think Windows will be supporting 7 for 5 more years;  at that time, I'll think about upgrading.  ;-)

I have not done any "upgrades".

I upgraed my old lap top and recently bought a new one. Both with 10. I like it, and have not had any issues. 

I have heard there are issues when upgrading, so have not done so yet.

We upgraded many months ago and can report ZERO issues.

It is a learning process in progress; some good some terrible.

Not yet , but I hear that it is sneaking it's way on my notebook thru Window's updates ?

Went to Apple awhile back. The lack of viruses, screwy updates, and the need to pay too much to techs to fix problems has given me more time and money. 

Well I did switch, but went back to 8.1.  You can reverse it and now everything is just fine.

I have not yet upgraded.

I have not upgraded any old computers but have bought a few new computers this past week with it installed, better than win8, not as nice as win 7.

No, I've been hesitant to upgrade. My computer is already running a little funky and I don't want to make it worse/slower.
