It sounds like you're trying to put a team together. Ask other agents who have teams how they structure their training and compensation programs for newbie team members.

What do you mean by share an agreement with a buyer's agent?  Where is she located?  More details would be useful for those that might be willing.

This has been an interesting thread.  Mose people would assume that a standard agreement exists within each and every brokerage.  Building a team is fundamental with growing your business.  Read the Red Book.  These agreements do not exist for public review.  It seems that each team currently existing 1.  does not have an agreement.  2.  has not read this post 3. does not want to share.  Not really a problem.  If anybody wants a copy of the stuff I have accumulated.  I am more that willing to share.

Your office should have a standard agreement for buyer agents associated with team leaders.

You should seek appropriate legal counsel regarding any agreements.  Agreements provided by others may not be appropriate for your purposes.

Peter, I have to agree it sounds as if you're putting a team together. KW has a very good process for that. Are you a KW affiliate?

I like working as a part of the team where every one is responsible for their part.

I'm not sure what ''share an agreement'' is, but I'd suggest you to try and if it does not work for any reason, just cancel. I personally find it very beneficial and fulfilling  to mentor new licensees ,if they are willing to learn.

Most of the "agreements" we use in real estate are on boiler-plate forms furnished by out local boards of Realtors.

@Peter, if you mean an IC agreement with a buyer's agent for you to team up with . . . modify your broker's, with their permission. If you mean a buyer-rep agreement, doesn't your local or state association have those forms?
