Yes I did, just for the fun of it. But the question I always ask myself is why do I play only when it gets this big? Like I'd not be happy winning only 40 million....

The only customer that ever canceled his mortgage during the 3 day right of recission said that the reason was that he won the lottery. He even sent me the newspaper clipping with his picture to prove it. Ever since then, I tell my customers the reason for the recission is just in case they win the lottery.

I went inside to pay cash for gasoline today.   Lady ahead of me in line bought $100 worth of Powerball tickets.   Then the guy behind her buys $300 worth!   I made a remark to the clerk, he says, "that's been happening all day."

I bought one.  I told Ed (the guy at my store) to sell me the winning one.

I have suspicions though that one of these tickets is predisposed to NOT win anything at all ... three consecutive numbers: 63, 64, 65. I think that astronomically jacks up the odds against at every prize level.

yes, this would be my third drawing in a row now that I've bought 5 tickets.  I actually bought some MegaBucks tickets today too because I figured eveyone else is buying Powerball.  Maybe the odds are better on Megabucks when the attention on the other. LOL
