You can't win if you don't play. That's a 100% certainty. I bought four $3 tickets and didn't win a thing, but the anticipation was fun.

I bought five tickets, and probably have only bought lotto tickets five times ever. Not a gambler, but this time, you never know.....

There are amusing odds out there e.g. you have a better chance of getting canonized by the Pope; it's like getting hit by lightning twice as you're drowning and so on. Of course I bought tix - one for each member of my immediate family.

We'll buy a ticket, it's the only way to win. But, what I enjoy most are the "what would you do if..." conversations that come out of it.

No. They would generate more sales if they sold the tickets in our great nation.

I am on a winning streak, so far I have won every time by keeping my dollar, why break a streak this time.
Best of luck to you though, your chances will be a little better without me in the pool.

God - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET ME WIN THIS POWERBALL! I promise to give half away, blow 25% on things I don't need and sock away the rest for my kids.

You have the correct view of money not earned.
Here's the issue, You win and very quickly change profession from real estate agent to BIG TIME money manager. That is a serious change in purpose into a discipline for which few are prepared. That is why the good ones make big bucks.
1.5 BILLION...what a wreck it will be!. Unless of course I win and then I'll say, "I'll be different!"
IF that much money in $1 bills were stacked flat, how close to the moon would it get?

If i was betting, i woudl pick something with better odds. red or black is 50/50 in Roulette. As for the lottery, you cant win if you do not play but reality says i have better odds of a lear jet landing on my street whisking me away to the Bahamas this morning
