Depends on the seller--how often and how they like to be contacted. From one perspective, as often as needed to relay important information.
San Tan Valley, AZ
John McCormack, CRS
It varies with each transaction.
Once a week or when I have an offer in hand.
Nina Hollander, Broker
At least weekly unless there is a need to contact them.
Nina Hollander, Broker
Not as often as we should.
Frank - I contact my sellers whenever there is information to be shared, or something that was done. However, once a week at a minimum.
Whenever something comes up, and I need to relay information.
Some daily, others weekly
after each showing and at least every week unless told otherwise
Every two days, or at least twice/week. Even if I do not have updates and they do not have any questions, I just like checking with everyone.
Typically once a week, unless they prefer a different schedule.
I tell them up front, I will call them every Monday.
when I was active, I contacted my seller often, every week.... updating on marketing .... making suggestions.... planning for open houses.... etc...
On as as needed basis as well as on an mutually agreed basis.
As needed. By eMail for routine stuff.
Usually when something happens or I have a reason to call them. I don't call them to say "I have nothing to tell you". I do, however , tell them they can call me anytime they want. I would say that on average I speak with my clients about once or twice a month. Some more. some less.
Weekly. That's one of the selling points when we meet somebody and discuss listing their home. We don't just put a sign in the yard and disappear. We contact them weekly whether there is something going on or not.
Usually about 3 times a week.
At least once or twice a week by phone or email.
As often as necessary. There are times I am talking with a seller several times a day. All situations are unique. Communication is key.
Depends on the seller and the property. Some are joined at my hip and others, not.
Usually once a week to let them know what's going on.
Weekly otherwise they think you are not working to sell their property
My standard practice is to share a market update with them every Friday and of course, anything in between as the need arises. I find it best to put it out there upon signing the listing agreement so that everyone's needs are met.
As-needed or requested
It depends. This is discussed during the listing presentation.
The very best do it at the same time each week !!!
during a listing every Tuesday and then when needed in between
Per my personal service agreement, every Monday & Friday with e-mail updates. Then a call, with any "breaking news" and they are welcome to call me too, but typically they just text me agent business cards from showings, for my follow up on feedback for my Mon/Fri reports. I have found that twice per week lets them know I'm truly working for them and keeps them plenty updated; it minimizes them calling me too.
As often as possible
At least once a week, for active properties it could be daily, for not so active could be Monday and Friday,
Frank Rubi Weekly unless there is something to discuss.
Every week unless there is something specific to discuss; they know they can contact me at any time with questions, of course, but at a minimum, I touch base once a week.
This should be a good blog topic for you to discuss the best practices.
I contact sellers very week.
